High speed triggers and IGBT strobes and speedlights can stop motion. Using a tiny computer, we can go even farther. We can gauge time in 1/1000's of a second. With this, we can time the distance between the water and the opening of a solenoid to the point that we can collide two or more drops of water in mid-air. We can even time them to collide after the splash of the first drop to produce dramatic art.
In this class we will use a custom, inexpensive computer trigger to time water droplets. Along with this, we will go through lighting setups, backgrounds, strobes, speedlights, reflectors and gobees. You will end up with some spectacular art for your portfolio as well as a new understanding of stopping and colliding motion.

This will be a fun weekend and you should be "up to speed" with your high-speed photography.
